Thursday will mark the first WM Phoenix Open to be held with an operational on-site sportsbook.
The DraftKings Sportsbook at TPC Scottsdale made its debut in October, and it will be open for customers to visit this week during one of the PGA Tour’s flagship events. Unlike a typical PGA Tour event, the Phoenix Open encourages consistent crowd noise while players compete.
The 16th hole, especially, is known for a raucous atmosphere and a crowd that celebrates wildly when players make a hole-in-one on the par 3. DraftKings offers a hole-in-one prop to occur on any hole at any point during the tournament, with -120 odds on yes and -105 odds on no.
Scottie Scheffler (+500) is the betting favorite at the event, having won the title in each of the last two years. Unfortunately for fans, Xander Schauffele and Viktor Hovland withdrew from the tournament in recent days, reducing some of the star power in the field.
Customers hoping to stop by the sportsbook during the tournament, which runs Thursday through Sunday, will need special tickets for entrance starting on Wednesday (practice round) and running through Saturday. If you can’t secure a ticket, Arizona sports betting law also allows for online wagering.
Sportsbook ticketing options
There are two ticketing options available to customers, with the first being a 19th Hole ticket. Those tickets cost $300 on Wednesday and Thursday and give customers access to the sportsbook from 1-9 p.m. local time.
The ticket includes complimentary food and an open bar, as well as admission to an after-party that includes music, a golf simulator, and giveaways. Those tickets cost $350 on Friday and Saturday.

The 19th hole VIP ticket, which costs $400 for Wednesday and Thursday and $450 for Friday and Saturday, gives customers access to the sports betting facility from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. Like the other ticket, it includes complimentary food and access to an open bar.
Each ticket package includes general admission access to the tournament.
All customers can access the sportsbook on Sunday as long as they have a ticket to the tournament. The sportsbook will be open from 9 a.m.-11 p.m. local time Sunday, which is the same day as the Super Bowl.
DraftKings’ TPC Scottsdale sportsbook will host a Super Bowl watch party from 3-9 p.m. local time. That event requires a reservation to attend.
The Super Bowl will kick off at approximately 3:30 p.m. local time. Most sports betting apps, including DraftKings, list the San Francisco 49ers as a small favorite over the Kansas City Chiefs.
