Aaron Rodgers Props Picks Predictions for Steelers vs. Browns Thursday Night Football

17

The AFC North renews hostilities on Thursday Night Football at 8:15 p.m. ET on Prime Video as the Steelers vs. Browns square off in a matchup between two 2-1 clubs. Aaron Rodgers props, picks, and predictions are what I have an eye on leading into kickoff.

Rodgers carries a well-documented history of Thursday night brilliance into this NFL game. Pittsburgh is favored by 2.5 points, and his play will be one of the deciding factors in who wins or loses this game.

Aaron Rodgers Props, Picks

When it comes to individual Aaron Rodgers props, a few stand out on the board from prediction market apps like Kalshi and Polymarket. Prediction markets trade in cents, which translate directly to implied probability:

  • Rodgers 200+ Passing Yards YES (61¢). Rodgers has cleared this mark in four of his last five TNF starts, and last week’s 292-yard outburst suggests he’s trending the right direction.
  • Rodgers 2+ Passing TDs YES (39¢) This is my favorite standalone Aaron Rodgers prop on the board. Cleveland has shown vulnerability on the back end, and Rodgers has feasted on this opponent historically.
  • Rodgers Longest Completion 34.5 Yards NO (50¢). DK Metcalf has recorded just 29 YAC through three games and Pittsburgh’s interior line has been inconsistent in pass protection. A conservative, check-down-heavy night from Rodgers isn’t out of the question.

Since I like Rodgers to play well tonight in Cleveland, I also give Steelers to win YES (58¢) serious consideration. Register with the Kalshi sign-up bonus and trade $25 on these Aaron Rodgers picks to unlock $25 in bonus funds.

Aaron Rodgers Prediction: Back the Thursday Night Specialist

My Aaron Rodgers prediction lean heavily on history. Rodgers has thrived on short rest throughout his career. Three straight Thursday starts have produced passer ratings north of 100 with a 9-2 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

Rodgers has also tormented Cleveland specifically throughout his career, piling up 11 touchdown passes with zero turnovers. Coming off a season-high 292 yards and three scores against Cincinnati, Rodgers looks like a quarterback finding rhythm with his weapons at the right time.

Not only did Rodgers play his best game of the season last week, but so did the Steelers’ offensive line. They allowed just two sacks after making changes to the right side of the offensive line. This is a Browns pass rush still lacking a pass rush outside of Mason Graham, so expect Rodgers to have a clean pocket to operate in tonight.

Aaron Rodgers Anytime Touchdown Odds Targets

Aaron Rodgers is not known for his scrambling ability in age 42 season, so avoid him when targeting Steelers vs. Browns anytime touchdown scorers. An adjacent way to target Aaron Rodgers props, picks, and predictions is to trade on players he may throw to that find the end zone tonight:

  • D.K. Metcalf (30¢). The Steelers’ highest paid wide receiver found paydirt last week against Cincinnati and figures to remain the’ top red-zone threat for Rodgers based on his sheer size.
  • Pat Freiermuth (20¢). Freiermuth has become Rodgers’ security blanket through three games (14 targets) and is due for another trip to the end zone after being held scoreless since Week 1.
  • Roman Wilson (16¢). Cleveland has allowed several touchdowns to the wide receiver position through three weeks, and Wilson has quietly out-produced Metcalf on a per-target basis this year and offers better plus-money value than Metcalf.

Steelers vs. Browns Preview

Don’t miss out on getting your Aaron Rodgers props, picks, and predictions in before TNF kicks off tonight:

  • Spread: Steelers -2.5 YES (53¢) | NO (48¢)
  • Moneyline: Steelers win YES (58¢) | Browns Win YES (43¢)
  • Total: Over 38.5 YES (52¢) | NO (49¢)
  • Date: Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026
  • Kickoff: 8:15 p.m. ET
  • TV: Prime Video

While Aaron Rodgers props and picks are fun markets to trade, the biggest storyline entering tonight is how the Steelers’ secondary holds up after trading Joey Porter Jr. to the Dallas Cowboys.

While Porter has yet to suit up this season, this game will be a test for the Steelers’ secondary against Deshaun Watson, who showed developing chemistry with his young skill-position players last week.

Weather & Injuries

Expect mild conditions around 70 degrees with cloudy skies tonight, winds near 10 mph, and a slim chance of rain. I don’t believe any of these conditions will affect the passing game and influence how you should attack Aaron Rodgers props, picks, and predictions.

Rico Dowdle is the only offensive player absent for Pittsburgh, so expect a large dose of Jaylen Warren in the run and pass attack. The Browns enter tonight with no injuries on the defensive side of the ball.

TNF Trends

Rodgers is historically excellent on Thursdays (13-7, 46 touchdowns, seven interceptions), and Mike McCarthy’s track record on short weeks dating back to his Dallas days only reinforces the edge (17-8).

Todd Monken, by contrast, is coaching his first Thursday game as an NFL head coach, while Watson hasn’t played on a Thursday night since 2020.
