Best Home Run Derby odds available
The following table shows the best odds currently available for each Home Run Derby contestant. In addition, there are odds for players to hit the longest home run in the event. Luis Robert Jr. of the Chicago White Sox is the top seed based on home run totals through July 4 and has the most home runs since June 15. He’ll be taking on Adley Rutschman in the first round.
Despite Robert Jr. being the top seed, Pete Alonso is the general top favorite at most sportsbooks. Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is the sixth seed, but is offered as the second-highest favorite. He’ll be in a very intriguing matchup with Mookie Betts in the first round. Other players in the field include Adolis Garcia, Randy Arozarena, and Julio Rodriguez.
In terms of the longest home run hit, Guerrero Jr. and Alonso are flipped among the top favorites. Vlad’s exit velocity is at 94.3 this season, putting him within the top two percent of MLB players. Last season, he launched a 467-foot blast that stands as the longest home run of his career.
