What sports can I find on PrizePicks?

PrizePicks offers any major sport you can think of but the categories of statistics will vary. For example, the NBA may have over 20 statistics to choose while UFC may only offer four categories to use in a lineup.

The NHL is an underrated sport with over 13 categories to choose from when setting a lineup. Wednesday night features an incredible game between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers as the Stars are currently up 2-1 in the series.

How to play pick’em games

As mentioned, it first depends on what sports you wish to play. Let’s use the NHL as an example for setting up a lineup.

You’ll need a minimum two players and can add up to six in a lineup, which increases the risk but also the potential payout. Furthermore, you can add across different categories such as a goalie to have more saves than listed, then a certain player to score more than 0.5 goals and others.

Finally, once you have selected a lineup, it’s important to note the difference between Flex and Power Play which dictates how the lineup plays out and the payout.

Flex Play — This allows the chance to still earn some payout if you miss one of your picks in the lineup

Power Play — You have to hit all your picks but the Power Play provides the biggest payout

Wednesday NHL lineup with code HANDLE100

Connor McDavid more than 3.5 shots on goal (demon)

I think the Oilers have a shot to tie up the series if Connor McDavid can be more aggressive on offense. He has led the team in assists in the postseason but only has four goals through the playoffs so far.

Connor McDavid more than 0.5 goals (demon)

This complements the other pick meaning if he can get more pucks on the net, I think he can score in Game 4. If Edmonton wants to take control of this series, it needs more scoring from superstar McDavid.

Stuart Skinner more than 23.4 goalie saves

I added one more complementary pick for some enhanced payout. Essentially, I’m assuming if the Oilers take Game 4 and the superstars show out, then Oilers goaltender Skinner also has a good game in net.

Flex Play — 2/3 correct is 1.25x payout or 3/3 correct is 3.5x payout

Power Play — 3/3 correct is 7x payout
