BetMGM is partnering with X, formerly known as Twitter, to bring sports betting information and odds to the social media platform, according to a Fortune report.
Details of the deal were not made available in the article, but Fortune reported the broad strokes of the partnership. X will be introducing a feature that will display odds from BetMGM and allow for users to place bets via direct link.
BetMGM recently updated its app offering in an effort to attract more customers.
“We developed our state-of-the-art sports betting platform to feature a variety of ways sports fans can engage,” BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt said in a press release right before the NFL kicked off this season. “The next generation of the BetMGM app is a giant step forward in the sports betting experience, increasing the level of entertainment before, during and after games.”
Fortune did not disclose financial information concerning the deal, nor a start date.
